Born and raised in garages, backyard barbecues, and a large boating warehouse, Smelling Colors is the ongoing band of 5 close friends dating back to the pre-high school years. Consisting of singer/guitarist Jonathan Beach, guitarist Robbie Lynn, bassist Riley Unverferth, keyboardist Shane Clarkson and drummer Mickey Keeley, the Roseville, California outfit continue to expand their style while still listening to the echoes of the good times. Their sound finds its home in Alternative/Indie, while also claiming inspiration in music of all types and ages. While the five members are spread out at four different Northern California colleges, the band continues to write new material, share ideas and record whatever they can.
